Here, surrounded by the most beautiful places in Salzburg and the marvellous mountain panorama, our family has been welcoming guests for decades and spoiling them with everything they need for a successful break. Our house owes its name “Pflegerbrücke” to its history. Old chronicles tell us that the square on which the inn is located was a Salzburg court until the 18th century. Today, we cultivate one thing above all: hospitality.
The Pflegerbrücke has been in our family since the beginning of the 20th century. Each generation has left its personal mark on the inn. Andrea and Matthias Kohlstätter have been running the inn since 1995. During this time, the business has been modernised step by step. The parlours shine in new splendour, the guest garden has been redesigned and the sanitary facilities have been completely rebuilt. The spacious children’s playground next to the garden and the indoor children’s play area are a paradise for families.
The Pflegerbrücke is a real family business – that’s why the children Christina, Matthias and Georg work hard here alongside the bosses. And because the tried and tested can only be preserved if it is enriched by new ideas, we are delighted when the next generation gets involved.
